"Tonight Tonight" was the first single from Hot Chelle Rae off of their second album, Whatever.

Hot Chelle Rae is made up of members Ryan Follesé, Nash Overstreet, Ian Keaggy, and Jamie Follesé. Ian has since left the band. The group originated in Nashville, Tennessee.

Nash Overstreet is related to Chord Overstreet whom you may know from Glee. He played Sam Evans. Chord makes a cameo appearance in the "Tonight Tonight" music video.

Hot Chelle Rae actually got their name from MySpace. Their imdb.com profile states, "The band was originally known as an unsigned group called Miracle Drug. They named themselves Hot Chelle Rae after they were stalked on MySpace by a user who referred to herself as Chelle Rae. She disappeared after they called her out on her false identity, but then they took the name."

I guess that is making lemonade out of lemons. Also, for those of you that don't know what MySpace is, it was Facebook before Facebook.

"Tonight Tonight" peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Adult Top 40 chart. On the year-end chart for 2011, "Tonight Tonight" landed at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #10 on the Adult Top 40 chart.

According to the band's Wikipedia page, "In December 2018, the band announced live via Instagram that they were reforming and were planning a new album, and in November 2019, they released their first new song in five years: 'I Hate LA.'"
