After the 4th of July, Summer is on a downward spiral.

But before Summer is gone, let's rejoice with this song by NKOTB entitled "Summertime" and hold on to this Summer.

"Summertime" was NKOTB's comeback single in 2008 off their album, The Block. This was their first new music since 1994.

In the intro, I never knew what was being shouted. All I heard was 1988. Now I know. Apparently, Joey McIntyre is saying, "Jones Beach! 1988!" Referring to their New England roots and the year they gained popularity.

According to Wikipedia:

The song peaked at #35 on the BillboardHot 100, becoming their first Top 40 hit since 1992's "If You Go Away". It has also peaked at #24 on the Pop 100.

On the Canadian Hot 100 it made a "Hot Shot Debut" at #17 rose to the top ten, peaking at #9.

Canada always was a little more accepting than America. LOL.

They may be older now, but they still know the boyband formula. Freshly waxed chests. Check. Matching white ensembles. Check. Choreography. Check. Pretty girls dancing around. Check.
