If you hear, "Let's go, girls!" and you don't instantly get super pumped, then I don't need your kind of negativity in my life.

In all seriousness, this week we celebrated International Women's Day and March is Women's History Month as well as Endometriosis Awareness Month. This month is all about the ladies! Well, except for St. Patrick's Day. We'll give him one day.

On International Women's Day, Shania even posted some fun videos with #LetsGoGirls so she basically forced me to pick this song!

"Man! I Feel Like A Woman" was the eighth single from her monster album, Come On Over. The sheer fact that this album had 8 singles is cuckoo bananas!

The song had a huge crossover appeal. It was a chart-topper on country and pop charts.

According to Wikipedia, "Commercially, the song was also successful, reaching the top-ten in six countries, while reaching the top-twenty in Canada and number 23 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was even more successful on the Hot Country Songs chart, reaching the top-five, and was certified Platinum by the RIAA for 1,000,000 digital downloads. The song also won a Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance in 2000."

The music video pays homage to Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" and "Simply Irresistible" music videos just with the genders reversed. Instead of female models as her band, we get buff guys.

Shania says the lyrics are inspired by her time working at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. The resort was hosting a drag show and Shania credits those performers as her inspiration for the song.

Plus, this song is still played in a bar somewhere every day of our lives! It will live on forever! And I'm okay with that.
