Andy is gone so, of course, I had to do a boyband for Throwback Thursday!

"Liquid Dreams" was the first single from O-Town's debut album, cleverly titled, O-Town.

O-Town was put together on the first season of Making the Band by Lou Pearlman. He was the guy behind Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. But, he also had a history of ripping people off and eventually ended up in jail for a Ponzi scheme. He died in prison of cardiac arrest in 2016.

OK, enough about that.

O-Town was made up of members Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller, and Ashley Parker Angel. Ashley Parker Angel has since left the group.

The name O-Town is a reference to Orlando, where the group was formed.

"Liquid Dreams" is a rather provocative song. It's basically about having a wet dream. Why did our parents let us listen to this stuff?

The song references many famous ladies including, but not limited to Destiny's ChildMadonnaJanet JacksonCindy CrawfordTyra BanksAngelina JolieSalma Hayek, and Halle Berry. There is a reference to Jennifer, but there is some speculation whether they are referring to Jennifer Lopez or Jennifer Love Hewitt or so many other famous Jennifers.

"Liquid Dreams" went to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

O-Town is still together as a foursome and have toured and put out new music in recent years.

The music video is the most year 2000 thing I've seen in a while. All the weird special effects, the hair, the clothes! Memories.
