"I Don't Want To Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)" was off of Good Charlotte's fourth album, Good Morning Revival.

Good Charlotte is a pop/punk band from Waldorf, Maryland made up of twin brothers, Joel and Benji Madden, as well as bassist Paul Thomas, guitarist and keyboardist Billy Martin, and drummer Dean Butterworth.

"I Don't Want To Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)" is Good Charlotte's second highest charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 behind "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous".

The song peaked at #25 and spent 21 weeks on the chart. On the 2007 Billboard Year End Pop 100 Airplay chart, "I Don't Want To Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)" just barely made the cut at #99.

The music video was directed by Sean Michael Turrell and features mostly performance scenes of the band.

Good Charlotte has released music as recent as 2018 and even did a surprise set on the final Vans Warped Tour in July of 2018.

Joel married Nicole Richie and they now have two children. Benji married Cameron Diaz. Dean Butterworth has worked with a lot of different bands and is even the band leader for the house band on NBC's Hollywood Game Night.
