Throwback Thursday ‘What You Got’ by Colby O’Donis feat. Akon (2008)

You might remember Colby O'Donis as the featured artist on Lady Gaga's "Just Dance."

However, he did have a few songs of his own. His biggest hit is "What You Got" featuring Akon.

Colby O'Donis was signed to Akon's label, Konvict Muzik.

"What You Got" was released in 2008 and was the debut single from Colby O'Donis' debut album entitled, Colby O. 

"What You Got" peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and # 8 on The Mainstream Top 40 chart!

According to Wikipedia, Colby O'Donis was born in Queens, NY and is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. He eventually moved to Florida where he worked with the same production team as Backstreet Boys, N Sync, and Britney Spears. Eventually, he opted to go to California to get a record deal, which is where he teamed up with Akon.

Colby O'Donis hasn't done much in recent years as far as music is concerned, but he did get married in 2016 to Erin Yvonne, a dancer and actress.
