This week's Throwback Thursday had to be a Christmas song by Hanson because even though I've seen Hanson multiple times in concert, I am finally going to see them perform their Christmas songs this weekend in Omaha as part of their Wintry Mix Tour!!!!! Dreams do come true!

"What Christmas Means to Me" was on Hanson's holiday album, Snowed In, back in 1997. The album was recorded in London!

The song has been covered many times and is one of my all-time favorites, no matter who is covering it.

Snowed In consisted of holiday covers and even a couple of original songs like "At Christmas" and "Christmas Time".

According to Wikipedia, Snowed In, "was also the best-selling holiday album for 1997 in the United States, selling 863,000 copies that year according to Nielsen SoundScan.[4] It has since sold a total of 1,081,000 copies in the US."

The holiday album debuted and peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200 album chart. If I remember correctly, Snowed In was one of the first CDs I ever owned.

I remember Hanson even had a TV Christmas special to accompany the album! I probably still have it recorded somewhere on VHS. And thanks to YouTube, you can see a snippet above. And below, again thanks to YouTube, we can see behind the scenes of the guys recording the song back in the day. They were such babies!
