This song holds a special place in my memory. While most people think of "Push" or "3 AM" when they think Matchbox Twenty, I always think of "Real World" first.

This video is a little eccentric and features Rob Thomas walking a camel down a bowling alley. First, I was a bowler all through childhood so I thought that was cool. Second, my mom can never remember celebrity names or bands so whenever she meant to mention Rob Thomas she would refer to him as 'The Camel Guy.'

"Real World" was the fourth single off of Matchbox Twenty's debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You. It was released in 1998.

According to Wikipedia "Real World" has done pretty well on the American charts.
