"All You Wanted" was the second single from Michelle Branch's debut album, The Spirit Room. Branch wrote the song and it was produced by John Shanks.

"All You Wanted" remains Michelle Branch's only top ten song in the United States. It went to #2 on Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart, #4 on the Adult Top 40 chart, and #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The music video was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards in the categories of Best Female Video and Best Pop Video. She did not win either.

Michelle Branch is still making music. She has released three studio albums and one album as part of the country duo The Wreckers. The Wreckers consisted of Branch and Jessica Harp. They were together from 2005 until 2007. They even received a Grammy nomination  Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group.

Michelle Branch has gone on to have two children. One with her first husband and a second with longtime boyfriend, Patrick Carney from The Black Keys.
