They say that the alley named after him, on the North side of St. Louis Cathedral, is where his old cottage was, and there have been sightings of his ghost there! And the food was good!

And then, off in the distance, we saw a light. We walked toward it like moths to a flame. As we walked closer, we were delighted to see it was a restaurant and then we were ecstatic that it was, indeed, open!

Envie has two location on Decatur in the French Quarter and they serve breakfast all day! My kind of place!

City Park is one of the oldest urban parks. It's been part of New Orleans since 1854!

The Camellia Grill is known for cloth napkins and the servers wearing white coats and bow ties! The food might not be super fancy, but the place sure feels special.

I'm a geek. I know. Get this? Those two houses are only a five minute walk from each other! I was so excited!

The café is open 24 hours a day and almost every day of the year. It is closed only for Christmas and for the occasional hurricane.

Louis Armstrong Park is 31 acres of bridges, beautiful landscaping, art, and places to make beautiful music.
