The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota, including Sioux Falls, in effect from 3:00 PM Tuesday (March 3) until 3:00 AM Wednesday. (Full Text of the Advisory below).

A mix of rain and snow is expected to start to fall over the region Tuesday afternoon and then transition to all snow. An inch of snow is possible as well winds guhstng to 60 MPH.
