Watch the Trailer for Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel!
The first trailer for the next installment of Marvel's Cinematic Universe is finally here. We are introduced to a new character, "Captain Marvel" played by Brie Larson. According to telegraph.co.uk, set in the 1990s, the film follows the story of Carol Danvers (Larson), a US Air Force Pilot who gains superhuman strength and the power of flight after a bizarre accident melds her DNA with that of an alien.
Also making an appearance in the trailer is a much younger Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) as well as agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). I was extremely excited to see Coulson return to the Marvel Universe! Another thing I noticed after watching the trailer is that Nick Fury doesn't have his iconic patch over his eye. Does this mean that sometime in the movie we get to see what happens and how he loses it?
Captain Marvel is set to hit theaters March 8, 2019.
