After a long cold winter, the people of Sioux Falls are using every good weather day to get outside and we had a great opportunity on Saturday for the annual Cinco De Mayo celebration in Falls Park (yes we know it was Diez De Mayo, but we like to do things on weekends around here! haha)

The promise of great ethnic favorites like burritos, churros, tacos (I had a friend post on her Facebook page from the festival that she just had a religious experience with a taco!) was all I needed to hear, but it turned out to be a nice warm afternoon too.

There were plenty of vendors set up with not only food and beverages, but crafts and art as well.

Plus live music from authentic Mexican mariachi bands to Jon Wayne and the Pain playing a reggaetronic dub in the park.

Man people in attendance felt it was the best attended Cinco De Mayo celebration yet and plans are in the works for 2015.
