I've said it before and I will say it again, A Goofy Movie deserves more respect! It is a great animated movie from Disney that just doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

A Goofy Movie came out in 1995 and is about Goofy and his son, Max. Max is embarrassed by his Dad, like most teenagers, so Goofy decides to take them on a Summer vacation to bond!

Max has other plans. To try and impress a girl, he says they are going to the big Powerline concert that is also going to be on pay-per-view.

Will Goofy fix his relationship with Max? Will Max get to the Powerline concert? Will Max get the girl?

Speaking of Powerline, having a built in pop star as part of the plot makes for a great soundtrack. "I2I" is a bop! I feel like it would be great for radio even now.

Other notable, awesome songs from A Goofy Movie include "After Today" and "Stand Out".

Powerline was voiced by real life R&B superstar, Tevin Campbell. Other recognizable voices from the cast include Jason Marsden, Bill Farmer, Pauly Shore, Kellie Martin, Jenna Von Oy, and Wallace Shawn.

According to Wikipedia, "A Goofy Movie was considered a relative success for Disney, opening in 2,159 theaters at #2 on its opening weekend with $6.1 million - held from the #1 spot only because of the Will Smith blockbuster Bad Boys that opened the same weekend, with $15.5 million in box office returns.[35] It ultimately ended its run at the US box office grossing $35.3 million."

Now that you know all the facts about A Goofy Movie I feel you can fully appreciate the Honest Trailer. I know it sounds weird, but I feel like the movie is slowly getting the recognition it deserves. I mean, Honest Trailers doesn't mock just any movie!!

So, thank you Screen Junkies for including A Goofy Movie.
