John Gaskins, the Director of Game Operations & Entertainment, says they're taking a "wrecking ball" to the excuse, "I don't like baseball!" They want the Birdcage to once again be a go-to entertainment venue, where a baseball game just happens to be going on.

So how are they accomplishing this?

The all-new Fun Zone for kids has bounce houses and Rainbow Play System equipment.
Both bars have been refurbished.
Cagey & Peep will be mingling with fans, plus there will be new mascots including a happy shark, a minion, a T-Rex, and Sumo wrestlers
Players will be signing autographs and taking pictures with kids and fans
Cardboard cut-outs will be around the stadium that should make for laughs and fun pictures
