"Girlfight" by Brooke Valentine was one of the 5 Seconds to Cash songs this week. A few people texted in asking to hear the whole song so this is my way of making that happen!

Brooke Valentine was born Kanesha Nichole Brookes in Houston, Texas. She started off in a girl group, Best Kept Secret.

"Girlfight" was Brooke's first single from her debut album, Chain Letter.

According to Wikipedia, "An online game titled Brooke Valentine Presents Celebrity Girl Fight was released online where the user fights female celebrities, including Ciara, Beyoncé, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, and Lil' Kim."

"Girlfight" was a top 30 hit in the US. It peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100, but went all the way to #13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #7 on the US Rhythmic chart! On Billboard's year-end chart for 2005, "Girlfight" was #85.

"Girlfight" is still Brooke's biggest song to date, however, in 2012 she released two singles, "Forever" and "Don't Wanna Be In Love".
