5 Unexpected Perks of South Dakota’s Brutal Cold
I was getting mopey about the prospect of another cold South Dakota winter when I came across this story from southern Colorado. It seems every September into October, the southwest of the US is overrun by tarantulas in love!

I lived briefly in New Mexico some years ago, and could never get my mind around the fact that, along with snakes and prairie dogs, there could be tarantulas outside doing tarantula things. And nobody was freaked out!
