You can help support South Dakota's first Ballet Company at the South Dakota Ballet Soiree.

Founder, Madeleine Scott and the founding board members invite you to the Museum of Visual Materials on Thursday, November 14th for their first ever fundraiser.

The evening begins with a social hour at 6:30 with complimentary wine and beer from JJ's. There will also be gourmet hors d'oeuvres.

The evening will also have entertainment from a jazz trio as well as a silent auction. One impressive item up for grabs are signed pointe shoes from Misty Copeland, the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre.

There will be a brief presentation featuring a guest artist for the 2020 season.

There are also photography sessions that can be purchased with featured photographer, Lynn Marie of Lynn Marie Photography.

-Dance Specific Shots

The funds raised will help finance the inaugural performance season.

Cocktail attire is encouraged.

Stay for the whole event or come and go as you please. The evening will end around 8:30 PM.
