One of my favorite things in the world is live comedy, so I was super excited to find out about the Sioux Falls Sno Jam Comedy Festival happening in February.

From February 16 through the 18 thirty comedians from around the country will be performing at different Sioux Falls locations. There will be stand-up and themed showcases over the three days. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Special Olympics of South Dakota.

Performance venues for the Festival are Fernson on 8th, Wacko's Comedy Club and Total Drag in Sioux Falls.

The schedule of events include a comedy showcase on February 16 at 7:00 PM at Total Drag called "The One That Got Away." It's a storytelling showcase inspired by Valentine's Day. Then at 9:00 PM ten comedians doing their best stand-up will take the stage at Wacko's Comedy Club on the east-side.

On February 17 Fernson will hose a stand-up showcase with another ten comics starting at 7:00 PM. Then at 9:00 PM is the "You Had To Be There" showcase hosted by Ryan de la Garza.

February 18 kicks off with the "Set List" Comedy Showcase at Fernson. Fora "Set List" style show the comic is given a topic on stage and has to improvise a bit based on it. then at 9:00 PM Fernson will host another ten comic showcase.

Tickets are on sale now for the whole festival or for individual events here.
