The Sioux Falls School District is in need a few good substitute teachers and custodians for the 2019-2020 school year.

Another summer is in the books, and your kids are busy hitting them once again. The start of another school year finds the Sioux Falls School District with a familiar problem, not enough substitute teachers.

As KSFY TV reports, it's a problem they work on solving all year long according to the Senior Director of Human Resources  for the Sioux Falls School District, Becky Dorman.

Dorman told KSFY, "Unfortunately we see schools have to get creative in covering their jobs which is why we try to recruit as many as we can."

The district is in the process of trying to beef up their substitute teacher and custodial force at the moment.

If you would like to help shape the minds of our youth and help to clean up after them too, interested parties can apply online at the Sioux Falls School District website.

A bachelors degree is preferred for substitute teachers, but an associates degree with some experience in teaching is also acceptable.
