Free Summer Meals for Sioux Falls Kids: When and Where to Go
When the school year ends, some kids lose easy access to a good breakfast and lunch. So, to make sure Sioux Falls' kids don't go hungry and have the best opportunity to be successful, the Sioux Falls School District will again offer free breakfast and lunch all summer long.
The Free Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program will run from Monday through Friday, May 29 through August 8, 2025 (they will not be serving on Independence Day, Friday, July 4).

Free Breakfast and Lunch for Sioux Falls Kids
All kids are welcome. Any child ages 0 to 18 can participate at seven locations across Sioux Falls. Breakfast and lunch will be served at all locations.
To make things easier on Sioux Falls families, there is no paperwork and no income eligibility. All one has to do is show up at one of the sites while they're serving food, and the kids will get to eat.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM until 8:30 AM. Lunch is served from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Parents can join their kids for a meal for a small fee.
