Sioux Empire Braces For A Scorching Saturday Heat Advisory
Heat and humidity are back in the Sioux Empire to make everything gross and sweaty again this weekend
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Heat Advisory for parts of South Dakota that includes Sioux Falls and areas south of I-90, for Saturday (August 15) afternoon and evening.
Hot temperatures will combine with rising humidity to create a heat index reaching 105 degrees. The super-hot conditions will make heat-related illnesses more likely.
