‘Once Upon A Time’ Casts Ariel and Prince Eric

'Once Upon A Time' is one of my favorite shows on TV.  I was a huge 'Lost' fan and after that show ended there was a huge void in my life.  Then came 'Once Upon A Time.'

It is no wonder that I dig the show because it is made by the same producers as 'Lost.'

Anyway, the show takes fairytales that everyone has heard over and over again and twists them and mashes them together and makes my head explode.  There are different portals and lands and some characters that were thought to be nice are mean and vice versa.  Crazy!

For the new season, the story of 'The Little Mermaid' is being added to the crazy.  Ariel is my favorite Disney Princess so I was very curious who was going to play her and her Prince Eric.  Well, it has now been revealed that Joanna Garcia will play Ariel and Gil McKinney will be Prince Eric.

Joanna Garcia you may have seen on 'Reba' or 'Privileged'.

Gil McKinney you may know from 'Friday Night Lights' and 'ER'.

I hope they keep Ariel a nice mermaid and don't make her a mean mermaid.

The new season starts September 29th on ABC.  I can't wait!
