If you are a fan of those DIY shows on HGTV then you are going to love this, Rehab Addict is back! Nicole Curtis has been the host of the popular show since it first aired in 2010. If you are not familiar with the show, she takes ramshackle homes from the wrecking ball and restores them to their original stunning glory.

The show had been put on hiatus for a year as Curtis was dealing with the death of her grandmother, an intense custody battle over her child and battling her mother in court. According to countryliving:

Last summer, the home improvement star's mother, Joan Curtis, requested a personal protection order against her daughter, claiming she was being harassed with threatening calls and texts from the younger Curtis. After a hearing in August, a judge denied the request on the grounds that she couldn't "heal family dynamics with the stroke of a pen," adding that the two parties had agreed they didn't want to have contact with each other—that should be enough.

Now that a year has past since the last episode, Curtis says that she is stronger woman than she was a couple of years ago and is ready to get back at it. Season 8 of Rehab Addict debuted on October 4 and airs Wednesday nights on the HGTV channel.
