Are you and your spouse sleeping in separate beds? There isn't really a right or wrong answer to this question.  But if you are, then you're not alone in this new trend.

A survey from the National Sleep Foundation indicates that one in four married couples are sleeping in separate beds.  Apparently, people tend to lose sleep when they are sleeping with their partners.  Sometimes being in the same bed can initiate marital problems because of the lack of sleep.  Experts say sleeping in different beds could actually help couples resolve marital issues because they would be well-rested.

We all know that getting a good night's sleep is the best way to recharge our bodies in preparation for the next day.  Any type of distraction like loud noises, snoring, or lots of movement can cause someone's sleep to suffer.  This could even include having different sleep schedules.  Sleeping well at night is best if you have an established routine.  Changing that routine can cause someone more harm than good in the end.
