Man Shot in the Foot Late Saturday Night in Southwest Sioux Falls

Late Saturday night, Sioux Falls Police were dispatched to the neighborhood of 49th and Terry Avenue for a report of a large group gathering and a possible shots fired call.

According to KDLT News, the incident took place just before midnight on Saturday (June 17).

Once authorities arrived on scene, the gathering of people had already dispersed, and there were no victims in sight.

KDLT News also reports, early Sunday morning, a man did arrive at a Sioux Falls hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound in his foot.

Police continue to search for suspects pertaining to the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
