Look’s Marketplace Is A Little Bit of Everything
Look's has been in Sioux Falls since 1883. Their website boasts that they are the oldest business in Sioux Falls. I'm not going to argue.
Look's Market has made a name for itself in Sioux Falls as a great butcher and grocery, but with the opening of Look's Marketplace in the old CJ Callaway's, they are a lot more than that.
The newly revamped establishment is part meat counter, bakery, brewery, grocery, deli, restaurant, and an all-around good time.
Their drink menu was full of cleverly titled beers and signature cocktails. I tried the 'So You Think You Can Dance?' and it was delicious!
I also tried their Croque Madame sandwich. It's artisan ham, wagon wheel, comte, hooks 2 year, and a sunnyside egg on sourdough. I don't even know what some of that means, but it was delicious. And it was the longest sandwich I had ever seen.
The food menu had sandwiches, pizzas, and pasta.
It's so cool to have all of these things under one roof. My friend and I walked around sipping on our cocktails while we shopped for some groceries. Not many places where you can do that.
