The Guinness World Record for the World's Loudest Burp (Female) has made its way back home to the United States where it belongs, thanks to one woman who overthrew the Italian record holder.

Kimberly "Kimycola" Winter from Maryland has broken the record, taking it from the previous record holder Elisa Cagnoni (Italy) in 2009 at 107dB. Kimycola belched a record 107.3 dB. She has, however, unofficially hit 109 dB.

Kimycola's record-breaking burp is louder than a blender (70-80 dB), an electric handheld drill (90-95 dB), and even some motorcycles at full throttle (100-110 dB).

To achieve the record, Kimycola had to find herself a 'dead room' like in recording studios - or radio stations. So, she went to her local station and ripped the record.

She had to stand the standard burping record distance from the microphone at 8ft 2in, but when she burped, she brought the record back home to the US after 14 years.

Just before performing the burp, she gassed herself up with some breakfast and by drinking coffee and beer. Her selection comes after weeks of experimentation in which she determined the foods that would allow her to burp the loudest.

When trying the loud burps, Kimycola says she takes a deep breath in and then will “manipulate that into something monstrous and magical.”

Some other fuel she's found works for her are spicy foods, soda and alcohol.

“Sometimes the burping just comes out of nowhere,” she explained.

She's had the talent since she was a teenager and has grown louder and louder with age and practice.

Now, she's in the Top 13% of OnlyFans content creators as well.

She loves seeing the reactions to strangers when she blows the burps. “That is just magic to me,” she said. “I love to see their face.”

After being kicked out of a bar for burping too loudly, she thought she might be up for a record.
