Fun Black Hills Hike: Osprey Hiking Trail at Pactola

I love to wander around in the woods or a grassland. It's fun to see things up close that you would never otherwise see. Before hitting the beach on our Black Hills trip my son and I decided to take such a hike.

On the west shore of Pactola Lake, mostly circling a peninsula, is Osprey Trail. It isn't challenging but provides a bit of an up and down workout. Along the way, we saw a few unique things you don't see from the road.
