
Extreme Cold Warning for Much South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa
The National Weather Service Office in Sioux Falls issued an Extreme Cold Warning for much of South Dakota, including Sioux Falls. The Extreme Cold Warning also included much of Iowa and Minnesota.
The Extreme Cold Warning is in effect from Monday night (Feb 17) through Tuesday morning (Feb 18).
The NWS forecast says that we can expect dangerously cold wind chills in the 30 to 45-degree below-zero range. Monday night lows in the Sioux Falls area are forecast to be near -25.
