Cellphone Burglars Hit Companies in Brookings, Brandon, Watertown
MITCHELL - Authorities say cellphone businesses in three South Dakota cities have been burglarized.
KDLT-TV reports that the thefts happened earlier this week at stores in Brookings, Brandon and Watertown. Authorities say about $43,000 worth of merchandise is missing from the three stores.
Police believe the thefts are related and involved more than one person.
Losses were estimated to be about $18,000 from AT&T Pro Cellular in Watertown, $15,000 from Z-Wireless in Brandon, and $10,000 from Wireless World in Brookings.
