Hi, Ben here, and I’m on a mission to not be fat when I‘m 42. To do that I’ve partnered with Profile by Sanford and I want to take you with me on my journey.

I've at a place in my Profile journey where I'm confident enough to be trying new recipes. For a while I'd been sticking with a very structured eating plan when it came to my non-mean replacement food. Lots of salads and seasoned cauliflower. I needed to do that to work on ridding myself of bad eating habits. If I spent too much time thinking about what to make for dinner it was easy to get off track.

Now I'm expanding my dinner choices with more exotic (to me) vegetable recipes. Most come from the Profile site, but sometimes I like to go all Iron Chef and improvise. This week I accidentally made a St. Patrick Day soup.

I had some spinach ready to go for a smoothie. Basically spinach and water with a dash of almond milk. Then I remembered that I had a packet of this new Profile Roasted Red Pepper Sauce that is so good.

So here's what I did instead. Into the blender I put my two cups of spinach, a half cup of chicken stock, about half of the Profile sauce, and a packet of Profile chicken soup.

I liquified that mixture and got a nice green soup! From the blender it went into a bowl and then the microwave. It was really good. So good I've had it for supper three of the last four days. The last time I made it I tossed in some leftover chicken before the microwave, and I had the whole meal in a bowl!

The Profile sauce is full of veggies and has a subtle bite of spice. The Profile chicken soup and the stock added some depth to the flavor that along with the spinach made the soup hearty.

A dish like this is exactly what I'm always looking for, full of flavor. Now that I'm learning how to get all that flavor in vegetable based dishes, and other low carb/calorie ways, I'm really feeling the positive change that Profile has brought into my life.
