Katy Perry recently released the official song for the Rio Olympics, "Rise." Accompanying the song is a video filled with powerful Olympic moments, guaranteed to give you goosebumps filled with pride as an American. At least it did for me. I love the Olympics, which is why this song reminded me of another Olympic song from back in the day. 20 years to be exact.

In 1996, Gloria Estefan, had the official song for the Atlanta Olympics, "Reach." That song even went on to win a Grammy. In Estefan's video, she is seen in the desert with a big scarf blowing in the wind for dramatic effect with images of Olympians coming and going. Very powerful stuff. Especially in 1996.

So, I ask you. Which Olympic song do you prefer?

Can we just take a moment and appreciate how toned Gloria's arms are! Gold medal!
