Over the last year, some artists, like Taylor Swift, gave us not one, but two albums!

Whereas, there are some artists that we haven't heard from in what seems like for-ever.

So, in no particular order, these are the artists I miss. I miss their voices, their styles, their presence in my musical life.

1. Rihanna

There was a time when you couldn't turn around without a new Rihanna song dropping. She was a hit-making machine for a long time. I understand people need to live their lives and have a break, but, girl, I miss you.

Although, she has been busy with her makeup and lingerie companies, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

I guess I can always listen to some old hits like "Don't Stop The Music" or "S.O.S." to tide me over.

2. Britney Spears

Ok, so I know this isn't really fair to put her on this list because she has stated more than once that she wouldn't put out new music or perform until all this conservatorship stuff with her dad was settled.

But, I still miss her.

3. Justin Timberlake

Justin has hinted in a few recent interviews that a new album is on the way. And, I know, his last couple albums weren't exactly the hitmakers we were used to in the '00s, but I still miss him.

He was in AppleTV+'s original movie, Palmer. It was good to see a little bit more of his acting chops, but I want some music! I know he did recently release "Better Days" with Ant Clemons, which is a great song, but it just made me want more. I'm ready for the new Justin era.

And lastly,

4. Adele

GIRL, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? (That is actually a Rihanna song. See above. I miss her too.)

It's been a real, long, hot minute since we've heard from Adele. The last we saw her, she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in October of 2020, which was actually super funny by the way, but I want some new music! Adele! Music! Now!

Since her last album, she got a divorce, so you know the new music is going to be heartbreaking and empowering and I am ready for it!
