It's a new year! Welcome to 2026, a year that marks half a century since Frampton came alive and Rocky introduced us to his pet turtles.

For me, though, a person born and raised in the olden days, AKA the 1900s, I'm blown away by the realization that 2026 marks 20 years since 2006. I know it's simple math, but it is crazy to think that a time that feels like yesterday to me is the distant past to so many. Young people today have the same relationship with the 2000s as I had with the 1970s.
