What on ‘Earth’ Is Going on in the Sioux Falls Empire Mall?
Or should I say, what does the Empire Mall have going on for Earth Day 2022?
Actually, come to find out, a bunch of stuff.
The Empire Mall in Sioux Falls is planning on celebrating Earth Week with a number of different events and fun activities throughout the entire week.

Dakota News Now reports that the Empire plans on kicking things off by accepting food donations for Feeding South Dakota starting on Monday, (April 18). Two separate donation bins will be set up in the Empire Mall through Friday, (April 29). During that time, guests will be able to drop off non-perishable food donations.
In conjunction with helping out the less fortunate here in the Sioux Falls area, the gang at the Empire Mall is also teaming up with 'Give Back Box.' Just another way Empire Mall patrons can give back to people in need all over the world.
Chances are you have a cardboard box lying around the house somewhere, right? Here's your chance to put that old cardboard box to good use by filling it up with gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. Then simply print a free, prepaid shipping label and the donations you provide will then be sent to a local charity.
According to Dakota News Now, additional Earth Day events will take place in the Center Court of the mall with fun games, eco-friendly crafts, snacks, and more for the first 100 kids on Saturday, April 23 from 11 AM until 2 PM.
There will also be members on hand in the Center Court of the mall to talk with shoppers about all the different ways you can go green and help the planet.
