Right now, all high school teens are looking forward to the end of the school year.  The only thing that is standing between those teens and their summer vacation is their impending semester tests.  But one library in Sioux Falls is doing what they can to help those teens get prepared for those semester tests.

High school teens are encouraged to take part in the 'Teen Study Time' at the Prairie West Branch Library,  Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th.  The Prairie West Branch Library is located at 7630 W. 26th Street in Sioux Falls.  Hours of the 'Teen Study Time' are from 5pm to 9pm on Monday, May 12th and from 1pm to 9pm on Tuesday, May 13th.

Even though it is an unsupervised study time, it is set up for teens who might need to get away from the distractions of home and focus on studying for their semester finals.  Students will have access to all the resources in the Prairie West Branch Library and when the student feels a need to take a quick break, "brain snacks" and water will be provided for them.

The library will have two separate rooms set aside to accommodate the students for studying.  One room will be set up for students to study individually and a second room will be made available for students who need to work in a group study situation.

The Prairie West Branch Library is also getting prepared for students who will be taking their ACT tests, by holding ACT test prep sessions the last two Saturdays in May.  On Saturday, May 24th, students will be able to prep for the English and Math portion of the ACTs and on Saturday, May 31st, students can prep for the Reading and Science portions. The ACT test prep sessions begin at 11am both Saturdays.

During the ACT test prep sessions, students will be able to take actual ACT practice tests and have access to the databases of different practice ACT test questions.
