Tip: Don’t Drink and Try to Pet the Tiger at the Omaha Zoo

Late Halloween night Jacqueline Eide showed up at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE with an injured hand. She was rather unpleasant to the staff there and it seemed like she been drinking.

The police were called to investigate. It turns out, early Sunday morning Edie had broken into the Henry Doorly Zoo because she wanted to pet a tiger. She made it to the cage, and when she reached in, she was bitten causing severe trauma to her hand. A friend took her to the hospital.

The zoo says that the tiger believed to have been involved in the incident was Mai, an 18 year-old, Malayan tiger.

Eide was cited for criminal trespass.
