When I travel, eating is one my favorite things to do. When I mentioned I was going to Chicago to anyone I got recommendations for restaurants more than anything else.

Of course, Chicago is known for deep dish pizza so that was on the to-do list. I had been to Chicago before and had Lou Malnati's Pizza so this time we tried Giordano's. Both were delicious, but then again I've never really had a piece of pizza I didn't like.

We also were told to have an Italian Beef at Portillo's, so we did! And a polish from Maxwell Polish, so we did. Portillo's is also know for their chocolate cake, so we had that too!

Another Chicago staple is Garrett Popcorn, so I ate that too! When you would get close to a Garrett's location it would smell so yummy! The popcorn made for a good road trip snack on the way home.

We also had breakfast at a local restaurant near our hotel called West Egg Cafe. It was really good and cheap. Nothing was more than $10. And it was delicious. Going out for breakfast is my favorite!

We also had to indulge in a fast food chain that we don't have, Shake Shack! I've had Shake Shack one other time in New York City, but it was definitely worth another go! The crinkle cut fries, and the buns are delicious, and obviously the shakes are on point.

After the Justin Timberlake concert, I was still wound up and hungry! I mean I danced a lot so I needed to refuel. Timothy O'Toole's was near our hotel and served food late so we went there for some quick appetizers!

Until next time, Chicago!
