Rusty Crayfish has Invaded South Dakota Waters – So if You Feel a Little Pinch While Swimming…
The Game, Fish, and Parks Department has discovered that rusty crayfish have made their way to South Dakota waters. The discovery began when a conservation officer was investigating illegal trapping of crayfish for fishing below Gavins Point Dam.
As you can see, from the pic below, rusty crayfish can grow up to 6 inches, much larger than native crayfish.
