The Killers Cover Oasis’s ‘Wonderwall’
The Killers were part of the lineup at Lollapalooza Chile over the weekend. Other artists included Imagine Dragons, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many more artist over the three day festival. Well during their performance in Sunday night, the band from Las Vegas paid tribute to Oasis and their lead sing Liam Gallagher who was scheduled to perform during the festival but had to cut his performance short due to what Billboard calls a chest infection.
As Brandon Flowers addresses the crowd, he says "Before I sing this song I would first like to say that Liam Gallagher is my king, is one of my kings.” Then the band went into one of the most popular Oasis songs of the mid-90's, "Wonderwall," with a crowd of over 100,000 singing along. The song is currently the most streamed 90s single on Spotify and the most streamed song released before 2000.
