‘The Bakery’ Isn’t Cooking Pastries, but They Are Hoping to Make Bread
What do you call a progressive gathering place for entrepreneurs, artists and educators in a historical building restored brick by brick? It's 'The Bakery,' opening May 1, 2015 on North Main in Sioux Falls.
This work-sharing, brainstorming, artist inspiring building is called 'The Bakery' as it ties to the history of the building
The spaces allotted for work, meetings and collaboration are carved out among the walls and await the finishing touches from the crew hard at work to breathe life into this once boarded up building.
You can reserve your membership for full use of the building or pay as you go for workspace or events.
Andy Jorgensen, who is a business developer with Fluxxr, recently gave us a tour of The Bakery. Patty Dee, Beth Warden and I went on a walk through of the building that is in restoration mode.
We also got to chat with building owner / developer Sheila Hazard as she explained this progressive concept.
Here's a video of our fun 'Bakery' Adventure!
