Taking Selfies to a Whole New Level

To feed the need, and prevent those close ups of your chin or the inside of your nose, Jacqueline Verdier has created the "Selfie Stick."  It's a telescopic extender that you attach to your smart phone.

"You can get your friends and family in the background; you can even get all of Times Square."

Verdier says it also solves the security problem of handing your phone over to a complete stranger.

"Nowadays we have our entire lives on our cell phones."

And thanks to the worldwide selfie obsession - and the fact Christmas is just days away - sales have shot up 3 thousand percent in the last month alone.
