Sobriety Checkpoints

There are 14 checkpoints scheduled for the month

South Dakota law enforcement will be out looking for drunk drivers at a number of different checkpoints throughout the state during September.

Twenty sobriety checkpoints in 15 counties are planned for February. The checkpoints are designed to discourage people from drinking and driving.

The South Dakota Office of Highway Safety and the South Dakota Highway Patrol have announced which counties they will be holding sobriety checkpoints in July.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol says that it plans to hold 23 sobriety checkpoints during May 2017.

Twenty sobriety checkpoints are scheduled to be held during February by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
