Star Wars Hover Bike is Real

The future is happening. We are one step closer to Back to the Future 2's world.

"A California-based engineering firm has created a proof-of-concept hover-bike that is as finely tuned to the balance and movements of its rider as its traditional two-wheeled cousins."

The bike has fans instead of wheels. People have been trying to build a hover bike for decades but until now no one could solve stability problems. They have been testing this model in the Mojave Desert and the craft "...has already had manned flights of up to 15ft at 50km/h, weaving through trees, buildings and under bridges." They are planning a more advanced bike for October.
