Sioux Falls Driver Faces Drug Charges After Near Miss Accident

A near miss accident with a Sioux Falls Police Officer Monday night ended with the driver being arrested on a number of drug charges.

Sioux Falls Police Department Public Information Officer Sam Clemens explains.

"We had an officer that was driving. A car swerved into his lane and almost hit the officer head-on. The officer stopped that car in the southwest part of Sioux Falls. He smelled some marijuana coming from the vehicle. Once the driver was arrested they found quite a bit of marijuana in the car, probably about 300 grams along with a scale and bags. He was arrested on several drug and distribution charges."

Clemens identified the driver as 19-year-old Ethan Alexander Dehm of Sioux Falls.
