Should Teenagers Get a Lock On Their Door? [POLL]

We got an email over the weekend from a mom who wanted to know what people thought of a teenage girl getting a lock on her door:

Hey Andy and Mel!

I was hoping you would talk about my issue on your show so I can find out what other people think.

I have a 16 year old daughter and she's going through that phase where she keeps bugging us about putting a lock on her door. When I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to have a lock on my door. Neither was my husband. I don't want her locking herself in there doing who know what, especially when her boyfriend is over. I still remember how I was at that age. Unfortunately, our daughter knows how to wear her daddy down and now my husband's actually considering it. He still sees her as a little girl and foolishly thinks we can trust her no matter what.

Could you ask your listeners if they would they would let their teenager have a lock on their door? Thanks!!!
