First of all, let me give fair warning. This is going to be the first of many posts about my trip to New Orleans so let's start at the beginning.

Flying in a pandemic to New Orleans, by way of Chicago!

Ok, so I know everybody that has ever flown takes a bunch of pictures of clouds and acts like it's the coolest thing ever.

But, honestly, flying into New Orleans, I had never seen terrain like this before. It's definitely not the type of landscape we have around here.

Swamps and marshes. The longest bridges I've ever seen going over what looked like never-ending swamps.

Then, out of nowhere, there would be one little house, all by itself in the middle of a marsh.

I mean, I thought I grew up out in the boonies, but this is a whole different thing!

One of my layovers was in Chicago, and not to toot my own horn, but I got some really cool pics of the skyline from the plane!
