Remedy Brewing Company has been in Sioux Falls for a few years now and has developed quite the following among beer drinkers. Especially with their Queen Bee Imperial Honey Cream Ale. So much so that Queen Bee gets its own day!

Not only is this an annual event to celebrate Queen Bee beer, but it is also a fundraiser to support local conservation. Queen Bee is made with honey and if the bees keep disappearing, then what?

There were raffle tickets as a fundraiser for Friends of the Big Sioux River as well as information booths from Oakridge Nursery and Dakota Honey Company.

Live music was provided by Habeus Porpoise and food was provided by Jekyll & Hyde BBQ food truck. I got to try jackfruit for the first time! Jackfruit was on the vegetarian nachos. I also asked them to add meat. Is that bad?

The beloved original Queen Bee Ale was available as well as four variants. The four new, limited flavors were Strawberry Basil, Lavender Limoncello, Smoked Honey Habanero, and Matcha Green Tea. My favorite was probably the Lavendar Limoncello, but let's be real, you can't top the original.

I also got to hold a puppy. It was a good day.
