Local Theatre Group Performing ‘Constellations’
Monstrous Little Theatre Company is a local theatre company that is known for putting on some great shows!
Their latest project is Constellations by Nick Payne. Constellations is described as "a play about free will and friendship; it's also about quantum multiverse theory, love and honey."
That is the short version, however, the play is much more than that. The play is basically a two person show featuring Debbi Jones and Dakota Driver. They play the leads, and the show uses short vignettes from their lives to tell the story. It is a story of love and science.
The show opens on April 27 and runs through April 29. All shows are at 7:30 PM at The Retreat at Pointer's Ridge located at 47303 Big Sioux Rd, Baltic, South Dakota.
$15 tickets can be purchased at BrownPaperTickets.
I saw Down the Road last year when Monstrous Little Theatre Company brought that play to town and it was amazing. It was about a serial killer being interviewed for a book. I know they were just playing characters, but I was afraid of the serial killer when I left. Down the Road was in the garage of The Bakery and at first it seemed an odd place for a show, but it really set the mood.
I've never been to The Reatreat at Pointer's Ridge, but I'm sure if the folks at Monstrous Little Theatre Company think it suits the show then it must be perfect.
